6. Milk Stout - Left Hand Brewing Company

Ok, we're taking a brief interlude from winter ales to drink the Left Hand Milk Stout, because we're in a coffee shop that conveniently has both beer and the internet, which is a blessing when you only have dial-up aol at home.
So the beer is surprisingly milk-y. I've had other milk stouts and this one is by far the most dairy-riffic. When you pour it into a glass it has a slightly milky smell that isn't there in the bottle. It tastes like...a glass of milk, with a little weird sour kick at the end. It doesn't taste very much like what I'd say is the "super normal" for stout; it's thin and doesn't have much body to it. Other than the milk taste, it's pretty boring. I give this beer 2 udders out of 6 and Jordan gives it 3.
