13. Winter Storm Category 5 ale- Clipper City Brewing

This is one of our last Christmas beers and if they'd all been like this one I'd be chomping at the bit to move on. The label of this beer says it has a "vivid malty flavor, and earthy malty aroma." Honestly, I didn't smell much of anything and it was rather one note. I don't think that note was malty either. Vaguely bitter it just kind of tasted like hops and not much else. This beer wasn't very good, it wasn't very bad either- just not very good. It gets 2.5 out of 5 pirate cliches on the bottle.
